おｓ! My name is Skye,
I'm a 2D animator and illustrator who goes by Pikupa! I have a deep appreciation for all mediums of art and encourage other amazing artists to stop making excuses for not following their passions of self expression on my Twitch streams!

Like many artists before me, I've practiced sketching in my school notebook margins and drawing for friends and family pretty much my whole life. However, despite my passion and love for art, I was convinced by the people in my life that I wouldn't be able to make a living being a creative. And for a lot of reasons, they were right to think that way.While art can be subjective, personally interpreted, and albeit generally vague, I have the habit of looking into the deeper meanings of the piece: the emotions felt, the artist's story, the message behind the work, as well as the method of creating such a piece.

The world RUNS on creative people! I want my work to help encourage other artists of all mediums to keep creating no matter what.
I believe all people should be able to express their emotions with art, whether or not you know what you are doing.
No matter what anyone says, we need YOU!!

All-in-all, I want my art and online presence as Pikupa to speak to those who are feeling lost, to those who need an outlet for their emotions and trauma, and to those who just need a friend to cheer them up and motivate them to keep on fighting!
Everyone needs someone to bounce creative energy off of, so I work everyday to challenge myself and to never stop improving.

I want to make people feel heard through sharing their art, amplifying their voices and improving my skills in art to encourage people to look at life through a positive perspective.
No matter the circumstance, there is always hope, peace, and love for you.
